DaVante Adams injury update: Packers WR hurts ankle
The Green Bay Packers will have an extra day to recover from Sunday night’s extremely physical 10 point home win over Seattle. If he misses any real time, though, Starks will skyrocket up the rankings.

Running back Eddie Lacy was just carted off the field, after apparently injuring his right ankle.
Starks would not have received so many touches if Lacy hadn’t left in the first half with the injury.
With rookie running back Alonzo Harris already sidelined by an injury, the Packers will now rely exclusively on James Starks in the backfield while James Jones and Randall Cobb will handle the pass catching duties. Lacy checked out early in the first quarter after a run, while Adams left the game after making a 13-yard reception. He also doesn’t add much to the passing game, so owners in PPR league should hesitate before playing him.
Just because Starks could be a part of a dynamic offense alongside a bonafide star quarterback doesn’t mean you should automatically plug him into your lineup. The starting running back of the Packers is a prime job, and Starks would see his ownership and usage percentage climb dramatically.

Fantasy impact: Starks isn’t the explosive player that Lacy is, but he’s a solid veteran with five years of experience in Green Bay.
