For his new H&M campaign, David Beckham has teamed up with actor and comedian Kevin Hart – and the pair make an unlikely but hilarious duo.
Cue incredulity, but we get a taste of things to come with scenes of Hart doing “research” for the role (ie. spying on Becks in bed), and dressing in the same H&M clothes.
The LOL-worthy clips feature Hart moving into Beckham’s house, attempting (and failing) an ice bath and even taking a stab at that dreamy accent. “I love fashion as much as I love sports, which is why I was so excited to star in David’s new H&M campaign”, he said.
David Beckham and Kevin Hart’s campaign for David’s Modern Essentials collection for H&M – and you can get a sneak peek of it right here. Hart is clearly extra enthusiastic about the opportunity to portray and study Beckham, as Beckham is clearly not: “How long are you staying?”
The full range, called Modern Essentials, lands on H&M’s website on September 28.
Naturally, the one-sided affection is just for the cameras, with David calling Hart “one of the funniest, smartest guys around” in a statement.

The comedian, who is currently touring with his stand-up show What Now? revealed that it had been his “dream” to work with David. “I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I did making it”, says Beckham. Watch the trailer above.
