Burning Man festival ended in its traditional fiery way last week, but rumours are emerging that alongside the classic immolation of the huge structure known as the Temple, there was also a small ceremony during which David Bowie’s ashes were scattered.
David Bowie released his final album, Blackstar, a few days before he died earlier this year.
“Most of us had the Bowie [lightning bolt] face paint on in his honour”.
Bowie, one of the world’s best loved musicians, died in January this year from liver cancer.
The 61-year-old Somali born supermodel made her first public appearance since Bowie’s death last week.
The Somalian beauty also revealed she has a special necklace in tribute to her husband, which was made by designer Hedi Slimane. As she told Good Morning America’s Joe Zee, she has no plans to take it off.
