David Bowie wanted to make ANOTHER album but died suddenly

“The cast didn’t know all that time, and I suspect that the musicians with whom he recorded ‘Blackstar” didn’t know either.

“David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar, ‘ recently released, is his second album since he resurfaced from what seemed like semi-retirement”.

Moments later, Bowie’s management made the shock announcement that he had died Sunday at age 69 following an undisclosed battle with cancer.

Bowie’s death will also be marked by a memorial concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall on March 31. Appearing alongside contemporary hits from the likes of Drake, Adele and Justin Bieber are Bowie classics like “Let’s Dance” and songs from his just-released album, “Blackstar”.

Blackstar is David Bowie’s final release, but the recently departed artist was in the early stages of preparing another album, according to a new Rolling Stone interview with his longtime producer Tommy Visconti. “The show is taking on many more emotions”.

A statement read: “January 10 2016 – David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer”.

Visconti’s supergroup, Holy Holy, which also features Bowie’s Spiders From Mars drummer Woody Woodmansey, will also perform two tribute shows to Bowie on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Toronto Opera House.

It’s unsure when and where his funeral will be held, but no doubt his family are now making preparations in New York City. He fought like a lion and kept working like a lion through it all.

Van Hove said that at the Lazarus premiere in NY on December 7, Bowie collapsed from exhaustion – “It was then that I realised it may be the last time I would see him”.

“I knew for a year this was the way it would be, I wasn’t, however, prepared for it. He was an extraordinary man, full of love and life”.
