Bowie passed away aged 69 on Sunday (January 10) after a private 18-month battle with liver cancer.

Sporting a jaunty fedora and impeccably tailored Thom Browne suit, the late rock legend immortalized himself in laughter in a promotional portrait for his new album, “Blackstar”, posted to his Instagram account a mere two days before his death.

The late David Bowie spent the last months of his life dedicated to the works of art he would leave behind, including Blackstar, his off Broadway stage production Lazarus, and two music videos aptly titled “Blackstar” and “Lazarus”.

In the message she emphasised the importance of savoring every day, with a quote: “sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment, until it becomes a memory”.

“It was immediately clear it was very serious”, Van Hove said, as quoted by the Times. We began collaborating on our show, Lazarus, and at some point he took me to one side to say thathe wouldn’t always be able to be there due to his illness.

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Angie Bowie broke down in tears after she was told about her ex-husband David’s death.

One of his last public outings was at the December premiere of his musical in NY where he “collapsed from exhaustion” behind the scenes.

Now, the producer of Blackstar Tony Visconti has opened up about working with Bowie on the album, in which he confirmed that the release was deliberately created and timed as a “parting gift” for his fans. “I wasn’t, however, prepared for it”. “I feel a huge gap now”, Eno said in a statement, according to the BBC. It’s followed at No. 11 by “Under Pressure”, Bowie’s indelible collaboration with Queen, which was played more than 1.374 million times. “Iman and I are very happy, and we have the most fabulous baby”.
