There is no real good chances for rain in the forecast but a slight chance might happen Friday night into Saturday. It is going to be hot and humid this afternoon. The humidity will be a LITTLE lower than yesterday, but don’t be fooled. Highs Monday and Tuesday should be into the lower 90s. Highs for both Saturday and Sunday will be in the low to mid-80s. Temperatures today climb to the mid 80s this afternoon. Expect mostly sunny days with only widely scattered afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms, some of which could certainly be strong.
This afternoon we’ve got a small chance for thunderstorm development mainly south of I-20.
Humidity builds through the weekend, so is will be muggy Sunday – Father’s Day – and Monday – the first day of summer. High temperatures will soar into the mid to upper 80s. The real difference will be noticed in those humidity levels. A ridge of high pressure will build into the region next week bringing dry and much warmer weather. Tuesday, a cold front will be coming through and with that, big changes.
