Asked about his growing family, the former Doctor Who star said: “I know, number four has arrived, yeah”.

David Tennant could moreover be used to the Tardis being bigger on the inside, still outside of the world of Dr. Who space continues to be a problem.

There is now an addition to the brood, as David told Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio this morning that his wife had given birth.

The family is made up of 13-year-old son Ty, four-year-old daughter Olive, and two-year-old son Wilfred, and now the baby girl, with Tennant saying that makes “two of each”.

“It’s getting a bit…it’s a bit of a brood!”

Christian continued on to jokingly compare the busy actor to a travelling serviceman who comes home every so often for “amorous” nights in with Georgia.

The Broadchurch actor wouldn’t reveal anything further about his baby daughter, but stated he and Georgia, 30, have now “got two of each”.

When a Guardian journalist joked that it was as if David had deliberately picked a daughter of a Doctor, David said: ‘That’s exactly what I did, yes, and there were very few candidates available.

Moffett became a mum aged 17 to her son Tyler, whom Tennant adopted not long after Moffett gave birth to Olive.

Prior to dating him, the actress revealed a soft spot for David, gushing in an interview: ‘David is dishy, isn’t he?
