David Warner fails but Sunrisers Hyderabad still prevail in IPL
In today’s Indian Premier League match, Sunrisers Hyderabad meets Delhi Daredevils Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Coming at the fall of Warner in second over, Williamson took just a few deliveries before he opened up to start playing his shots. “Kane, first game for him this year, the way he and Shikhar played, laid an outstanding platform for us”, said Warner.
He and Dhawan dominated the Delhi attack, the New Zealand captain crashing Angelo Mathews for back-to-back sixes over midwicket and long-off to assert his authority.
At the other end, Dhawan focused on collecting singles while putting away the odd delivery to the boundary. However, one thing can be well assured that the Delhi vs Hyderabad match will be something that will entertain the players and the onlookers thoroughly.
If the track plays slow like it did on Monday night, the two leggies, Amit Mishra and Rashid Khan, could be a handful. Dhawan then brought up his half-century – his first of the season – in the 15th over; the left-hander consumed 40 balls to get to the milestone.
Williamson scored 89 runs off 51 balls with six boundaries and five sixes while Dhawan posted 70 runs, studding his 50-ball stint with seven boundaries and a six. Dhawan, a shade sidelined in the strike-rate stakes, propped up the charge, helping himself to a six en route to a 50-ball 70. Axar dealt another blow in his next delivery by forcing an edge of Yuvraj Singh (0) to Saha.
Bhuvneshwar took five wickets conceding 19 runs in his four overs to provide the finishing touch in a humdinger that was decided with two balls to go.
No other bowler from the DD camp managed to bag a single wicket.
The Sunrisers’ skipper had a rare off day after winning the toss and batting first against Delhi on the same wicket where they had walloped Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener.
Daredevils made a bright start in reply, reaching 56-1 at the end of six powerplay overs, with Sanju Samson (42) and Karun Nair (33) piling on the runs after Sam Billings (13) had been dismissed in the second over.
With the score at 12/1, Williamson joined Dhawan and both forged a 136-run partnership for the second wicket in 14.2 overs before Morris sent Williamson packing in the 17th over.

The duo got Delhi close to the target, with an improbable but not impossible 24 runs needed off the last over. Sunrisers’ fate was down to Siddarth Kaul for a second successive match. DD finished at 176-5.
