And Steph Curry definitely did take part in the “Dell Curry Night” festivities.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been named the Kia NBA Western Conference Player of the Month for games played in October/November, the NBA announced on Wednesday.
Curry registered another big night and, in this one, he was ultra-efficient from the field, shooting 14-of-18 field goals including 8-of-11 from the three-point area.
Principles are principles, and it sounds like Curry wants to get his degree soon, so this should become a moot point in due time if all goes according to plan.
Curry scored 40 points in the season opener and totaled 40 points or more in five of the 19 games (and now he’s at six out of 20).
He’s pulling up from all over the court, and his mere presence has turned the Warriors into a machine whose 20-and-0 start to the season seems like just a prelude to something even more earth-shattering.
Newton and the Panthers aren’t doing so bad themselves, sitting ideal at 11-0 one game away from clinching a playoff spot and a third consecutive NFC South championship. Things got a little tougher for Charlotte in a win over Milwaukee on Sunday, when center Al Jefferson went down with a calf strain that is expected to keep him out two to three weeks. It’s special. We find different ways to win and it’s the strength of our team. Klay Thompson scored 15 of his 21 in the first quarter.
The Hornets tried to get back in the game but their only lead was when the score was 9-7. Following a 3-0 October, the Warriors swept the November slate (16-0), giving the team its first undefeated full calendar month in franchise history.
What Curry did late in the third quarter was also special.
When Harden and the real MVP met in the second game of the season, Curry finished with 25 points in a 20-point win over the Rockets.
Kyle Lowry scored 22 of his season-high 31 points in the fourth quarter, DeMar DeRozan added 17 and Toronto rallied from 17 down in the third to beat Atlanta. After the Hornets forced Curry to give up the ball to an open Draymond Green, Green missed the three-pointer. He averages 32 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. They led by as many as 26.

The Hornets (10-8) shot just 37.2 percent from the field, including Kemba Walker’s woeful two of 16.
