After taking a dip in the river Krishna at Durga ghat here said they have taken an oath during Godavari pushkaralu that all the rivers in the State would be interlinked for development of the State.

Krishna Pushkaralu 2016 Live Streaming: Krishna Pushkaralu is a holy festival celebrated once in every 12 years at each of the 12 major rivers of India.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with his wife Bhuvaneswari took a holy dip Krishna river at Durga ghat along with Kanchi seer Sri Sri Jayendra Saraswati. The festival is usually observed for a period of 12 days, and this year, the government of Telangana State announced to organize Krishna Pushkaralu form 12th August to 23rd August 2016.
Chief Minister and his wife performed “gau puja” for the “prosperity of the state and took the blessings of the Kanchi seer”.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR is also expected to take the holy dip at Gondimalla ghat and visit Jogulambda temple in Alampur on Friday morning.
Police deployed drones to keep a vigil at all Pushkar ghats while the government administration is using mobile applications to monitor every aspect, including crowd management, related to the event.

Vijayawada city alone is expected to witness a crowd of about 25 lakh per day, according to officials’ assumption. As many as 7,000 security personnel will be deployed in Nalgonda district where 28 ghats have been set up for the pilgrims.
