Titles such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill sure were a terrifying experience!

Though clearly influenced by older Resident Evil games, Daymare opts for Resident Evil 4’s over-shoulder camera view, which is probably for the best when targeting a modern audience.

Invader Studios (former Invader Games) is an Italian independent developer located in the Roman countryside, best known for their work on Resident Evil 2 Reborn, the unofficial remake of Resident Evil 2 which has drawn more than 1 million views on YouTube previous year.

Invader Studios has enlisted the services of Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil Code: Veronica artist Satoshi Nakai, who will be contributing to the creature designs of Daymare: 1998.

Several months ago, Capcom’s social media specialist Tim Turi detailed Resident Evil 7’s Deluxe Edition and some pre-order bonuses for the upcoming horror game, revealing aspects of the DLC known as the Survival Pack that unlocks the hardest difficulty early on in the title. Fortunately for fans, Capcom (Developer of the Resident Evil series) announced that they would be making an official remake.

The Burner Set also suggests that zombie-burning may be back for the new game, following its absence in recent entries.
