DC area forecast: Gusty winds today, colder Friday; Mild air returns Sunday
Temperatures will be in the 20s Friday morning with highs moving to near the lower 60s by afternoon with sunshine and southwest winds at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Highs today will stay in the low 40’s with mostly cloudy skies and breezy NW winds making it feel like the middle 30’s all day.

SATURDAY: We’re forecasting Highs around 61° under sunny skies.
Colder air is pouring into the region this evening with stiff west to northwest winds.
Monday through Wednesday will be fairly quiet with partly sunny to sunny skies and highs from the upper 60s to near 70 on Monday to the middle 60s for Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll dry out as we head into the weekend. Next weekend should see another warming trend with highs climbing back into the 70s.
