A DC Comics super-fan is asking his fellow geeks to sign a petition to shut down Rotten Tomatoes over its “unjust” negative reviews.
“Critics always give The DC Extended Universe movies unjust Bad Reviews”, the petition’s call to arms read.
To that end, a fan petition, centered on the already negative reviews for Suicide Squad, has launched with the intent of getting Rotten Tomatoes scrubbed from the internet.
The petition at change.org had received nearly 15,000 signatures by midday on Wednesday.
The saga of the Suicide Squad reviews gets juicier by the day. He went on to say that he started the petition as an outlet for fans to express their support for the movies. Not with critics, anyway, as the film now has a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
In other words, this petition is likely not about to make Rotten Tomatoes wilt away anytime soon.
In an interview with Reuters, Delevingne said that critics where a bit too harsh on the review of the film, adding that they probably are not fans of movies about superheroes.
“The critics have been absolutely horrific, they’re really, really terrible”, she told Reuters. So can we stop using “made it for fans, not critics” as valid reasoning for bad reviews?
You ever see a little kid get so mad at his parents when they tell him “no” that he just starts calling them stupid, unfair, and that he hates them?
Instead of blaming the movie studio for letting this happen, the writers for constructing this garbage script, David Ayer for taking a runny dump on the DC Universe and Jared Leto for being Jared Leto, fans of the movie studio are turning their blame on Rotten Tomatoes for portraying the movie in a bad light.
Directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, and Joel Kinnaman, Suicide Squad will open in the United Kingdom and U.S. on August 5, 2016.
“I made the movie for real people who live in the real world”, added director David Ayer. Even the recent remake of Ghostbusters has garnered outrage from fans.

Because of this, Jay Hernandez who was cast in the Suicide Squad as El Diablo was downright furious considering their hard work to make the movie as flawless as they can to please fans of the franchise, per a report from Digital Spy. It is expected to gross US$125 million (S$168 million) in North America when it opens this weekend, according to box-office analysts.
