‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ Introduces New Team Lineup, Stephen Amell to Return
“For Season 2 of Legends, we decided that the ideal antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of Super Heroes would be TV’s first-ever team of Super-Villains”, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said.

The trailer recaps what went down during season one including Rex Tyler aka Hourman showing up to tease the Justice Society of America before jumping into new footage from season two. Plus, if that’s not exciting enough, the producers are planning to call this association of antagonists The Legion Of Doom, a name that should be familiar to fans of a different team of DC heroes.
First of all, the Legion of Doom will be a part of the villainous landscape and will consist of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) from Arrow, the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) from The Flash, and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) from Flash and Legends. It’s been confirmed that the Legion of Doom will factor into the show’s second season, but don’t expect to see a traditional lineup comprised of the likes of Lex Luthor, Brainiac, Scarecrow, Solomon Grundy and others. “[Malcolm] killed me, and Damien Darhk [killed Sara’s sister Laurel Lance]”. Interestingly, Guggenheim revealed that he will be appearing as “Mayor Oliver Queen”, not the Green Arrow.
Darvill revealed during the panel that there’s a “big twist with [Rip] quite early on [and] that changes everything”. Instead of one bad guy, they are responsible for [taking down multiple villains]. You won’t have to wait long to see it. We definitely are excited to see if the show can bring forward some of the promise that it had going into the first season.
