However, Delhi Chief Minsiter and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said Jaitley can not intimidate him and his party by filing a court case.

The BJP chief questioned the legality of commission of inquiry set up by AAP government to look into the working of DDCA.

The AAP government in Delhi has demanded that Jaitley should resign or be “removed” from the union cabinet to enable an independent probe.

His reactions came after AAP leaders attacked Jaitley alleging financial irregularities in the DDCA. Arun Jaitley was selected as a president of DDCA in 2009 and holded key position in the cricketing community for over 13 years.

The Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister also made a fervent appeal to Rajya Sabha members to help in passage of the pending bills, Lok Sabha has passed many bills, since there is no possibility of extension of Parliament “as of now”.

India’s Finance Minister Arun Jaitley speaks with the media in New Delhi November 23, 2015.

Kejriwal said the session would discuss the “DDCA scam and CBI raids on the Delhi Secretariat”.

Reacting to this, AAP spokesperson Ashutosh tweeted: “Mr Jaitley don’t threaten us with defamation”.

“Jaitley can not intimidate us with court case”.

Kejriwal had alleged that the CBI raid was conducted to take possession of the DDCA files which were kept in his office.

Kirti Azad, who has been campaigning against alleged corruption in Delhi’s cricket body, on Sunday addressed a press conference here but did not take the name of Jaitley, under whose charge as president of DDCA he claimed there were financial bungling.

He said if Jaitley does not step down, the Prime Minister should sack him as the charges against the Finance Minister are not only coming from the opposition, but from a senior BJP MP too.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has denied searching Kejriwal’s office.
