De Blasio demands Cruz apologize to New Yorkers
“It’s Trump and Cruz, and the other four jockeying for some momentum”.

NY mayor Bill de Blasio responded to the comments made by Cruz.
In the exchange, Cruz hit Rubio for “dumping your “oppo” research folder on the debate stage” after Rubio’s barrage, but Rubio shot back, “That’s your record”. The Nationality Act of 1940 outlines which children become “nationals and citizens of the United States at birth”.
With the all-important Iowa Caucus less than two weeks away, Thursday’s debate continues to highlight the critical role social media plays in this year’s presidential race.
The ad will be airing in the early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire, according to the campaign.
Indeed, there seemed to be some acknowledgement during the debate that only one more serious contender might emerge from the rest of the field. “I was born here”.
Christie and Rubio also tussled on stage, as the two men touted their conservative bona fides.
Some New Yorkers are upset over Ted Cruz’s derisive comments about “New York values”.
Cruz, in response to a question as to what he meant when he said Trump “embodies New York values”, stated, that “values in New York City are socially liberal” and “focus around money and the media”.
When Ted Cruz sneered at what he called Donald Trump’s “New York values”, some New Yorkers took it very personally. “We rebuilt downtown Manhattan, and everybody in the world watched and loved NY and loved New Yorkers”, the real estate mogul said. “It was inappropriate and I hit him very hard”, Trump said Friday on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program. The Texas senator often mentioned to the press that Trump was a friend. “That’s a caricature, I would say, of a certain kind of Jew”.
He added: “Since September, the Constitution hasn’t changed”. Marco Rubio has his own legal challengers.
“He called Snowden a public servant”, Rubio said.
“I thought Ted did not have a good night, last night”. But he spent his time primarily on answering the assertion he had favored lower military spending. And you said it’s something you don’t know about, now he doesn’t know that he was a Canadian citizen?
Others, including Kasich and Christie, said they were on board with at least temporarily not allowing Syrian refugees into the country.
Donald Trump gave his best debate performance of the campaign.
Cruz, who leads Trump in several Iowa polls, said the reason for Trump’s new attacks is simple: “His poll numbers are falling”.
Only seven candidates participated in Thursday’s prime-time event because of polling criteria established by the Fox Business Network.
Lindsey Graham announced he is backing Jeb Bush for the Republican presidential nomination, praising the former Florida governor’s approach to national security. He went after Trump’s proposed exclusion of all Muslims, saying it made it impossible to recruit and retain allies in the worldwide coalition against ISIS.
The one consensus loser of the night appears to be Ben Carson. Recent turmoil in his campaign has included the resignation of his finance director, which was announced the day of the debate.
The same participants also loved Christie lecturing Obama during the debate.

So the one remaining question is whether Ted Cruz was a citizen at birth.
