De Bruyne eyes successful partnership with new Man City recruit
De Bruyne will be well aware of Gundogan and Sane’s talents, having played against them in Germany when he was at Wolfsburg and the Belgium global says they are the sort of top-class players who can help fuel a title bid.

“I am particularly pleased at City, where two of my team-mates from the German team, Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan, are playing”.
Embolo became Schalke’s record signing when he joined the club for a reported €22.5million from Basel, but his hopes of linking up with Sane were dashed when the 20-year-old switched to Manchester City. “My aim is the title”.
Having returned late to pre-season training after this summer’s Euro 2016 championship, De Bruyne has now set his sights on winning England’s biggest prize.
However, the midfielder also believes the competition from the Premier League’s other top sides will ensure the title goes right down to the wire.
“Manchester United is strong again with Pogba and Ibrahimovic”, he added.
Sane made 47 Bundesliga appearances and scored 11 goals on his way to sealing a move to City, but Embolo dismissed any comparisons that might be drawn between the two players.

‘All the clubs have invested heavily, not only on world-class players, but also on world-class coaches who have been brought into the league. But I think Chelsea and Arsenal will be strong, too’.
