After revealing that Team Ninja is working on Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, Koei Tecmo has now announced that the game is in development for PS4 and PS Vita.

According to Famitsu (via NeoGAF), the two versions will have different names, with the Vita edition referred to as “Venus”.

The Dead or Alive Extreme is a spinoff of the popular Dead or Alive fighting game. Due to its success, the developers came up with a sequel coined Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, which was released in 2006 and is again exclusive for Microsoft’s Xbox 360.

Now producer Yosuke Hayate has declared that all hope isn’t lost, and if there is enough demand, he will considering doing a version of the game specifically for western markets.

But if you wanted to skip all that “fighting” nonsense, you could dive in to the DOAX games, which took place on a desert island resort and replaced uppercuts with volleyball, roundhouse kicks with lounging by the pool, and punishing throws with girls bumping each other with their butts.

A review expert from IGN said that the game will make the gamer tensed most especially on the down to the last read match which will conclude on an erupting and exploding battlefield. Exactly how these will benefit Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 remains to be seen.
