Dead Rising 4 Xbox release date revealed
The latest release in the “Dead Rising” franchise will come to Xbox One and Windows 10 later this year, Microsoft has confirmed to IGN, and a new trailer premiered at E3 in Los Angeles this week. The original Dead Rising is certainly a classic, but a little bit different to the more recent entries in the series. However, fans will no longer have to wait anymore since game developer Capcom and the American software giant Microsoft have already confirmed the fourth installment at the ongoing Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016. The only problem was, I could not see said road. It’s a date that makes ideal sense, as given the Christmas theme of Dead Rising 4, I would have expected it to come out during the holiday season.

In the game, players will take on the popular character Frank West, who served as the protagonist in Dead Rising.

Some fan-favorite features will return, including the ability to combine hundreds of weapons and vehicles to combat the horde, while new features include Exo-suits and drop-in-drop-out 4-player co-op multiplayer. Expect zombies of old and new, like the new EVOs zombie, as detailed by studio head Joe Nichols to be like raptors in Jurassic Park (they jump high and run fast). When fans missed his presence in the sequel Dead Rising 2, he was brought back in a re-release of the game called Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, which wasn’t considered canon but featured Frank West working his way through the Dead Rising 2 storyline. Stay tuned for more Dead Rising 4 story details and gameplay videos as we get closer to the beginning of December.
