Dead Rising remasters get release date and price

Nearly exactly 10 years after its original September releases in Japan, Europe, and Australia, remastered versions of Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Capcom has put together a list detailing exactly when and how people can get the games alone, separately, digitally, and physically.

The games will have all the DLC costumes and upgraded graphics running in 1080p at 60FPS, the latter of which you can see in the 10th anniversary trailer below.

The Sept. 13 date applies to the digital releases of all three ports; in North America, Capcom will release retail disc versions of the PS4 and Xbox One ports for Dead Rising on Sept. 13 and Dead Rising 2 on Sept. 27. We’ve had a close and longstanding relationship with Capcom including the launch of Dead Rising as an Xbox 360 exclusive and Dead Rising 3 as an Xbox One exclusive.

The remaster of the original Dead Rising is now available for pre-order on Steam. On the hunt for the scoop of a lifetime, a tip leads Frank to the small suburban town of Willamette that’s been overrun by zombies.

Dead Rising: Case Zero and Dead Rising: Case West will not be included in the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One remasters, Capcom has confirmed. Don’t forget to capture the insanity on film and show off those photo journalist skills along the way!
