Dean Ambrose Finally Becomes The Lunatic Fringe
– SmackDown opens up with Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio talking trash to each other backstage.

– Bray Wyatt comes out to the ring with Rowan and cuts a promo on Dolph Ziggler. Ambrose made the save, but Wyatt and Rowan gained the advantage. Dolph Ziggler comes out and hits the ring and goes right after Rowan and Wyatt. The match finished with Ziggler giving a superkick to Rowan and then pinning him. Wyatt hits the Sister Abigail on Ziggler and leaves the ring.
This led to Daniel Bryan announcing a tag team match between the two pairs for the main event.
JOBBER ALERT! The Ascension is not impressed with American Alpha, not are the Vaudevillians.
Eva Marie was looking to make her debut on the blue brand after she seemed to feign an injury before her match with the Lasskicker Becky Lynch. She runs to the back and the referee declares the match will not take place. She tries to do the same tonight, but Carmella defends herself long enough to make this match, Carmella’s first main roster match, official. Marie came back out to distract Lynch, allowing Bliss to get an upset win in her debut.
Randy Orton was walking backstage.
– Still to come, Orton vs. Del Rio. Del Rio works Orton over for several minutes until Orton turns it around and sends Del Rio to the floor on his back. Orton comes back with a dropkick and looks to make another comeback but Del Rio gets the armbreaker over the top rope applied. There’s a reason that Del Rio is a multi-time world champion, and a reason that he was incredible in his short run on Lucha Underground past year: the man “gets” professional wrestling down to an atomic level. Del Rio goes up top again but gets crotched on the turnbuckle, and Orton superplexes him off. Orton hits a spinning powerslam then follows up with a DDT off the middle rope. They brawl around ringside and Del Rio ends up getting himself disqualified by beating Orton with a steel chair. Orton offers Del Rio a VIP experience but warns him that it’s a bumpy ride with a helluva landing.
Moreover, the match between Heath Slater and Rhyno is scheduled to tonight.
– We get a segment from earlier today where WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz rolled up on Scooby-Doo.
– Rhyno def. Heath Slater: After some back and forth action, Slater takes control and keeps Rhyno grounded. With Lynch yet again not fighting, she took to the microphone proclaiming she was ready to scrap with anyone. Becky rips off a series of clotheslines and hits a Becks-sploder suplex. Rhyno covers and gets the win.
Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler joined forces to beat Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan on Tuesday’s Smackdown Live, although the partnership didn’t run altogether smoothly.
– Back from the break and Ambrose is backstage with Ziggler. Bray hits a powerslam but misses the Senton bomb and tags in Ambrose.

Going beyond straightforward match results, here are the 5 biggest winners and losers from SmackDown Live. Ziggler goes for the super kick, but connects with Ambrose instead of Bray. Rowan gets the tag and splashes Dean, almost getting a pin. He stops by Ambrose but quickly rushes the ring and gets beat down. Wyatt and Rowan double-teamed Ziggler. Ziggler hits a splash in the corner and an elbow drop for 2. He hits a tornado DDT on Rowan for another 2. Rowan hits a big boot for a near-fall of his own. Ambrose goes for a suicide dive and almost kills himself. Back in the ring, Ziggler superkicks Rowan for the win. However, their tag team was short lived as the champion hit the challenger with a Dirty Deeds and stood tall to close the show.
