Once Bayley’s music hit, the look on Sasha’s face was one of pure happiness for her real life friend Bayley making her long-awaited debut. All you need is an Amazon Fire or Amazon Fire TV device and a WWE Network subscription, which the subscription offers the first month for free and is just $9.99 thereafter. Props to WWE in not changing their plans just to throw off the internet after word got out that Bayley’s debut was the planned result.

The “new era” of RAW could have been a random label, an ironic usage as we saw the same things.

Everyone knew going into the match that Roman Reigns was going to walk out with the victory, but that didn’t take away from the quality of this match.

What did you think of the new look Raw?

To summarize the night so far: Finn Balor won a #1 contender qualifying fatal four way on his first night.

Join me next week for another Raw Review. That match would take place on Raw, much to the dismay of the champion.

Reigns soon followed him, finishing Chris Jericho with a Spear to emerge victorious in his own fatal-4-way match, which also included Sami Zayn and Sheamus.

-I was actually surprised there weren’t a whole lot of boos for the Usos, given their relationship to Roman Reigns.

The New Day ( Big E, Xaiver Woods and Kofi Kingston) vs.

After a few weeks of apparently being mesmerized and frightened by Bray Wyatt, Xavier Woods finally snapped out of it in this match, but The New Day lost when Wyatt hit Woods with his Sister Abigail finisher and pinned him. After WWE split up AJ Styles and the Club, they spent very little time in finding Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson something to do.

They put on a hell of a match, and Sasha Banks ends it with the Bank Statement. The Man That Gravity Forgot faces Curtis Axel, who was the last draft pick for Raw, which means he is “Mr”.

After a series of heavy impact moves and tons of signature finishers, WWE’s Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose retained his WWE Championship against his former Shield brothers, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. In the process, several big winners (and that one unfortunate loser) emerged from the pack of exclusive Raw Superstars. Golden Truth promos range from amusing to tolerable to cringe-worthy, but seeing Goldust genuinely geeking out over Pokemon Go was great.

Not only was this one of the best matches of the night, this was one of the best matches of the year.

The fantastic main event was not the match of the night however, as that accolade went to a heated and at times staggeringly hard-hitting clash between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
