In the main event, Dean Ambrose is defending his WWE World title against AJ Styles, who recently defeated John Cena and has been on a tear since coming to the blue brand. To crown their first Women’s champ, SmackDown is having a Sixpack Elimination match between Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Natalya. Backlash barely has any sort of undercard so far but all of the announced matches have stakes behind them which makes it an interesting change.
