DeAngelo Williams Admits To Being A Nickelback Fan

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown catches a touchdown pass before celebrating with an end zone twerk.

The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 24-16 in a repeat of last season’s AFC wild card game, and again it finished in controversial circumstances.

This defense, led by Ryan Shazier, came to play on Sunday.

But his last catch is one he’ll wish he could have back. Brown did have an egregious drop on a trademark Roethlisberger ad-lib, but all in all, the Bengals limited big plays from No. 84, which had to be one of the keys to defensive coordinator Paul Guenther’s game plan. It was ruled a fumble on the field, and the Steelers recovered the loose ball.

“I’ve got to take better care of the ball”, he said. “But after I watched it, my knee was obviously down and I still had possession of the ball, clearly”. Therefore, the call stood.

A native of Clairton, Pennsylvania, Boyd spent the past seven years as one of western Pennsylvania’s brightest football stars. With the Broncos clinging to a six-point lead with 1:51 remaining, Miller burst past right tackle Joe Reitz and swiped the ball from Luck’s grasp. Williams finished the game with a career-high 32 carries for 97 yards and four receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown.

The Bengals then selected Boyd in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, locking him into a division rivalry against his hometown team — starting Week 2 in Pittsburgh. “I don’t want to blame things on the weather”.

That said, the Steelers have some experience on how to deal with this situation; on how to deal with infusing Bell back into the offense after he’s been absent for a span of time.

“These are the guys who play for us now”, Pittsburgh coach Mike Tomlin said. “Whatever I have to do to win”. Williams found enough room to keep the chains moving, the Cincinnati offense off the field, and the Steelers unbeaten.

Roethlisberger shook off a so-so first half. Safety Robert Golden also saved a touchdown, shoving tight end C.J. On the very next drive, the Bengals’ Mike Nugent hit a 25-yard field goal to make the score 7-3, but the Bengals were never able to catch the Steelers. The quarterback later used a 14-yard scramble – his longest run in three seasons – to set up a flip to Williams that put Pittsburgh up 24-9. For the Steelers’ running back, DeAngelo Williams, his favorite pass time is listening to Nickelback. But Harrison was ready and waiting to lower the boom and dash any hopes of a magical comeback for Boyd and the Bengals.

“That was the point made by Mike Pereria, the former National Football League vice president of officiating who works as a rules analyst for FOX, who said “if I had to bet my bottom dollar, I think he’s down” before adding that because there wasn’t a clear look, they had to stay with the ruling on the field”. No one knows what base defense they’re playing in there.

Boyd said he felt he let his team down, but his veteran teammates weren’t about to blame him.

On a day where Pittsburgh should have been looking to only the most sure-handed skill players on the team, QB Ben Roethlisberger chose to go to his tight ends. “He’s got the things that excite you: he’s tough, he’s smart and he’s got a good above-the-neck game, he’s a worker”. “I think guys accepted the challenge that someone needed to step up”.

But Pittsburgh’s defense, while still clearly a work-in-progress and with a secondary that’s not as talented and as accomplished as the Bengals, also manages to frustrate the likes of quarterback Andy Dalton and receiver A.J.
