Deanna Favre will present Brett at Hall of Fame induction
The Hall of Fame announced today that Favre’s wife, Deanna, will present him during the August 6th ceremony in Canton, Ohio. Players often have other players and coaches do the honors, but Favre has chose to go a different route.

Brett Favre’s upcoming Hall of Fame induction already has the makings to be an emotional one. The only other instance came in 1998 when former Chicago Bears linebacker Mike Singletary was inducted by his wife, Kim. “She has been by my side throughout this journey and I’m so excited that she gets to play such an important role for me”, Brett said in a Hall of Fame statement.
The group includes, for only the second time ever, a wife presenting her husband.
“Serving as Brett’s presenter is a great honor”, Deanna commented.
Turns out, Favre went with his “best teammate” – his wife, Deanna.
Brett Favre was an 11-time Pro Bowler, three-time MVP and Super Bowl XXXI victor who played 16 seasons with the Packers and owns numerous National Football League records, including most career pass completions, most career pass attempts and most consecutive starts by a player.
Capers, who will be coaching in the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday, Aug. 7 as the defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers, will present his former defensive standout Greene.
The other honorees and presenters are Edward J. Debartolo Jr.

Favre, the longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback who spent his final two seasons with the Vikings, said last week during a conference call that if his father, Irvin, was still alive he definitely would have gotten the honor.
