A “faithful port of the Source engine original onto Unity 5”, Dear Esther: Landmark Edition also includes remastered audio, larger subtitles, a crosshair, Trophies/Achievements, and menus and subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish and Russian. The equally atmospheric adventure Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture followed a year ago, first on PlayStation 4 before making the jump to PC.
The Guardian Event on September 30 is billed as a “Directors’ Commentary Directors’ Commentary” which will see Dan Pinchbeck and Jessica Curry discuss their journey from Half-Life mod to full console release.
