Leila Mazloum died in the double suicide bombing that claimed 45 lives.

She only recently became permanent resident. She returned to Lebanon about 10 days ago in an effort to bring her family to the United States.

Relatives say she was shopping when the bombings occurred Thursday in a Beirut suburb. A daughter suffered minor injuries.

News of the local casualties numbed Dearborn, where about 40 percent of residents are Arab Americans. “I’m just in total shock of all of this”.
