Afghan security personnel inspect the site of a vehicle bomb attack in Kabul, Afghanistan, Friday, August 7, 2015. Other details were not immediately released.

The attack on the camp followed within hours of a suicide attack on a police academy in Kabul that killed 20 people and wounded at least 24.

A wave of attacks rocked Kabul, leaving more than 40 people dead and more than 300 injured.

The Wall Street Journal reports three Americans were injured in an explosion that occurred outside the headquarters of the U.S. military’s Special Forces in Kabul at Camp Integrity.

Officials said Friday evening’s suicide bomber was dressed in police uniform when he detonated an explosives-laden vest outside the gates of Kabul’s police academy. We again call upon the Taliban, other Afghan militant groups, and anyone supporting them to bring an end to violence in Afghanistan.
