“Donald Trump’s hitting a nerve in this country”.

The next Republican debate isn’t until September, so may as well kill some time and use the Ronald Raven Name Generator to see what name Rick Perry would give you.

The next two debates will be September 16 on CNN and October. 28 on CNBC. The question on the women, I didn’t say many of those things. Despite the viewer success though, Trump is complaining that the debate, moderated by Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, Bret Baier and Chris Wallace, was unfair.

Donald Trump’s behavior toward moderator Megyn Kelly is just the latest in his long line of derisive, sexist remarks.

Trump also said that many of his supporters are asking him to run as an independent. He gobbled up more airtime than any of his opponents (twice as much as Rand Paul). “Only Rosie O’Donnell”, Trump said of his previous disparaging comments, earning a laugh from the crowd. I’m very surprised at Fox News that they would do that because, you know, I would say it’s pretty unprofessional. “But I wouldn’t do that”.

Donald Trump set the tone, repeating some of what he’d said before about Mexicans as criminals flooding across the border. And what did he get in return for donating to Hillary Clinton?

Trump largely dismissed Kelly’s question at the debate, and in a series of interviews Friday on network television, the billionaire businessman questioned whether he had actually used the words as Kelly had alleged.

“She really bombed tonite”, Trump wrote.

Sure, Trump was his usual testy, bloviating self, and the man kicked off the night by betraying his own party and calling Rosie O’Donnell a “fat pig,” but if you looked only at today’s media coverage and the public’s response, you’d think the Donald absolutely crushed it.

“If I’m our nominee, how is Hillary Clinton going to lecture me about living pay cheque to pay cheque?” said Mr Rubio. “Their performance was outstanding”.

The top-polling Republican presidential candidates spent a lot of time on immigration in Cleveland. The other candidates competed in a forum that began at 5 p.m. ET to an audience of one-quarter the size. The huge ratings spike did lead to a bump in polls for Trump, but Fox News commentator and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Charles Krauthammer says that Trump came undone during the debate.

Fox attracted just under 12 million viewers for its 2012 Election Night coverage, its previous standard for biggest audience.

Republican presidential candidates participate in the first prime-time presidential debate hosted by FOX News and Facebook at the Quicken Loans Arena on Aug. 6 2015 in Cleveland Ohio
