Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher might have a joint funeral service

Fisher’s brother, Todd, recently hinted on the possibility of holding a joint funeral for his sister and mother.

It’s been reported that Reynolds was planning Fisher’s funeral, before being taken from Mr Fisher’s house to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Fisher said he was sitting with his mother when she died, and that it seemed like she just closed her eyes and went to sleep.

No parent should ever have to bare the pain of losing a child and for Debbie, all she wanted was to be with her daughter.

On Tuesday, Carrie Fisher died suddenly due to cardiac arrest. “She had a will to not want to leave Carrie”.

He continued, “She then said she really wanted to be with Carrie”. Famed actresses Debbie Reynolds and her daughter actress Carrie Fisher passed away this week separated by only one day.

Carrie and Todd Fisher were born to Reynolds and the late singer Eddie Fisher, whose marriage ended in scandal in 1959 after he began an affair with actress Elizabeth Taylor.

Doctors tell us broken heart syndrome affects mainly women, and it is usually treatable, with many making a full recovery within weeks. “Fifteen minutes later she suffered a severe stroke”.

The 58-year-old had recently claimed that Carrie’s death effectively triggered Debbie’s passing.

“She went to be with Carrie”.

It’s a fitting tribute that the pair are celebrated together, as they were both publicly and privately very close and much loved. They sung every song worth singing (often together.) Carrie and Debbie loved each other profoundly.

With a nod to her mother, she said, “Thankfully, my mother changed all that and gave our family name a kick in the trousers that it might or might not deserve”.
