Debbie Wasserman Schultz Jeered Off Stage
The Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, announced her resignation Sunday, July 24, but her headache continues-she was booed off the stage in an appearance at a breakfast for Florida delegates. He added: “I have no doubt that she is the leader we need at this time to keep our country safe”.

All except for one: soon-to-be-former Democratic Nation Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-Fl.). The email exchanges between Democratic National Committee staffers leaked last week validate a concern that Mr. Sanders has continuously raised through the primary campaign – that the leadership was favouring Ms. Clinton.
Most supporters of Sanders, who entered the race as an avuncular fringe candidate before gaining vast popular support, consider themselves on the opposite side of the political spectrum from the brash billionaire real estate tycoon who secured the Republican presidential nomination last week.
As permanent chair, Fudge will gavel each day of the convention to order and to close, as well as maintain order as Democrats vote to nominate former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president and U.S. Sen. Some held up signs that simply said, “E-mails”.
But it was Wasserman Schultz who really felt the Bernie people’s wrath on Monday. Gretchen Whitmer on Monday helped MI delegates kick off the Democratic National Convention with an all-woman breakfast, a nod to the pending nomination of Hillary Clinton for president.
The anger over leaked emails showing DNC officials plotting against the primary campaign of Vermont Sen.
As for the leak, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said it will “continue to investigate and hold accountable those who pose a threat in cyberspace”. The controversy isn’t something the Clinton campaign needed, especially after Republican Donald Trump’s huge bounce in the polls on the heels of the RNC. This, he said, is why an unlikely candidate like Donald Trump rose to become the GOP nominee and an underdog like Sanders was crushed by the DNC machine. Wikileaks has posted emails that suggested the DNC was favoring Clinton during the primary season. Party officials learned in late April that their systems had been attacked after they discovered malicious software on their computers. “We are the state that will deliver the White House”. More rallies are planned on Monday. Elizabeth Warren, New Jersey Sen.
But Wasserman Schulz’s plans to open the convention Monday afternoon – risking more boos on live television – raised the possibility of further drama. “I think now is the time for party unity”.
The average convention poll bounce for Democrats since 1964 is 6.8 percent; for Republicans, it has been 5.3 percent, according to Gallup. On Sunday, Donald Trump took to Twitter to gloat over the Democrats’ new problems. Look for Sanders to also tout the successes of his revolution, including a platform that is the party’s most liberal ever and, in Clinton, a nominee who has been pushed to the left on trade and other issues.
“She’s not going to put all that burden onto businesses like it was in the past, where you had businesses who were picking up the full tab for people’s healthcare-you want to have a shared responsibility for it”, Granholm said. Clinton indicated in her statement that she will try to help Wasserman Schultz fend off the challenge in Congressional District 23.

He also questioned the timing of her departure at the end of the convention, during which she will still play a role. But even a prime speaking slot Wednesday night won’t guarantee that he’ll shine among the constellation of Democratic stars. The Republican presidential nominee has done business in Russian Federation.
