Debbie Wasserman Schultz to step down at end of party’s convention
She was referring to the Democratic National Convention, which will be held in Philadelphia from Monday through Thursday this week.

Political newcomer Tim Canova, who is challenging Wasserman Schultz in the August 30 Democratic primary for her House of Representatives seat representing Florida’s 23rd Congressional District, said he would file the complaint against her with the U.S. Federal Election Commission.
For all the hopes of staging a convention without the controversy and division seen last week in the Republican gathering, the Democrats’ first day was filled with angry protests, booing and heckling on the convention floor, and the resignation of the DNC chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Following the aftermath of the almost 20,000 emails leaked by WikiLeaks outlining purposeful attempts by the Democratic National Committee to sabotage presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ campaign, the fate of the Democratic Party appears to be quite uncertain, especially given the possibility of more incriminating information being released.
Those emails ultimately led DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz announcing her resignation.
His speech hit all the familiar themes of his presidential campaign with little direct praise for Hillary Clinton.
“Going forward, the best way for me to accomplish those goals is to step down as Party Chair at the end of this convention”, the statement goes on. That message – and the endorsement of Sanders – has helped the political upstart raise a surprising $2.2 million through June 30, mostly through small donations, after refusing to take money from political action committees.
Wasserman Schultz’s email transaction doesn’t state whether she ever got the tickets or not.
He said their response “reflects anger and disappointment” over Clinton and like-minded Washington Democrats’ control over the party.
Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) was tapped to chair the convention in her place.
Whether you are a supporter of Bernie or not, this is an offense against all of us. Her own supporters yelled back, standing on chairs and waving T-shirts bearing her name.
As we move forward, we must carry on with the proceedings knowing full well that our democracy is a fallacy and instead replaced with an ultimatum. He also repeated his call for a series of campaign debates with Wasserman Schultz.
“We all knew the DNC had its finger on the scale in Hillary’s favor, so it’s good to be validated”, state Sen.
Then she left the room, refusing to speak to reporters. When Sanders reiterated his support for Clinton, Trump called him “a weak and somewhat pathetic figure”. They were joined by 48 other people on the train, which left the station just before 10 a.m. Yesterday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, said Russian hackers are explicitly trying to get Clinton’s opponent, Donald Trump, elected in November.
For years though, it seemed, Wasserman Schultz was unstoppable.

Hillary Clinton’s communications director, Jennifer Palmieri, told ABC News that even more emails could become public. “Florida loves to be the center of attention, regardless of the context”.
