I believe in leaving the European Union a bright future awaits.
She paid tribute to Cameron for his “leadership” and other Tory party leadership contenders. May will then travel to the palace in order to receive the Queen’s invitation to form a government. The monarch’s role is ceremonial, but part of the custom of changes of government.
Cameron, who will be succeeded by Theresa May on Wednesday evening, visited India three times since 2010 and pulled out all stops to make Prime Minister Modi’s November 2015 visit to London a success.

With so many Labour MPs in opposition to their leader, there is a risk of the party splitting if Corbyn makes it on the ballot and secures a repeat of September’s landslide victory. Police said Tuesday they were investigating reports that a brick had been thrown through the window of Eagle’s constituency office in northwest England.
May’s accession is unlikely to end Britain’s political turbulence.
She will also have to lead the charge in negotiations with the European Union on trade and other various agreements as she begins the task of uniting the UK once again.
Even before arriving at 10 Downing Street, Mrs May was facing calls for a snap general election from both Labour and the Liberal Democrats.

She said a lengthy leadership race would be “highly undesirable”.
