In a conversation with Hindustan Times, the “Piku” actress revealed that her Hollywood journey wasn’t an easy one.
According to a leading daily, Deepika Padukone was quoted saying that it is all about whether an actor suits a role or not. “I don’t think an actor’s religion, gender, or the region he or she belongs to, should be the reason to sign him or her for a film”.
Deepika Padukone further added that her Hollywood journey hasn’t been easy.

Although the editing process is going on, the film will only release next year during January 20, 2017, so that’s an excruciating wait for all of us, who are looking forward to watch the film! As for her upcoming Bollywood project, the actress will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmavati” next.
