The deer brushed off the incident and ran into the woods, and the police officer was not injured after the animal collided with a cruiser on a Kentucky road.

While this white tail deer may not get points for sticking the landing, he gets style points for a midair flip and for surviving a collision with a Kentucky police officer’s cruiser. “Officer Pittaluga applied his brakes and steered away from the deer in a controlled manner”, the post read.

It did not appear the animal suffered any significant injuries.

The video shows the deer “performing a Triple Axel” over the hood of the cruiser.

‘We did place a call to Santa just to be sure this deer didn’t belong to him (we would hate to end up on the naughty list),’ the department wrote in a Facebook post.

Police say one of their officers was driving when he noticed a deer coming towards his vehicle.

To be fair, this particular buck never meant to fly, but it ended up airborne after an unexpected encounter with a police cruiser in Kenton County, Ky. But, it appears the deer was not seriously hurt.
