Louis van Gaal is heavily reliant on stats when he has to defend Manchester United ‘s position under his stewardship.
“But we have to make a revival this week, and that’s always very hard because you have lost two in a row, that doesn’t happen often for Manchester United”.
“I think the three points were very important, more than the way we played”, said Pellegrini.
Following another drab performance during the shock 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth, fans were screaming for a change in manager in their numbers.
Marouane Fellaini equalized but more embarrassment for United at a 54th-minute corner handed Bournemouth victory, with Josh King finding himself in lots of space to turn in a shot from a pre-planned corner routine.
“It is a matter of belief, if you believe in this manager or not”.
“And then we shall do our job, but it is more hard to prepare a game against Norwich when you have lost twice in a row”.
But after Jesse Lingard had gone off injured, King restored Bournemouth’s lead early in the second half when he gave Daley Blind the slip and applied an adroit finish to Matt Ritchie’s right-wing corner.
While United appear to have lost the winning edge that underscored Sir Alex Ferguson’s years of success, the former Holland boss still believes he can bring glory back to Old Trafford.
He added: “Of course it’s disappointing if you lose two matches in a row in an important week, so now we have to stay there in a position to keep fighting”.
“I think the title is beyond them”, Souness told Sky Sports.
It was a second stunning win in a week for Eddie Howe’s promoted Bournemouth following their 1-0 triumph at champions Chelsea last weekend and took them three points clear of the relegation zone. According to the Daily Mirror, Giggs is going to be given a “cast-iron guarantee” by the club that he will be succeeding van Gaal as manager.

Based on their current form, an away trip to the Britannia Stadium in late December seems like the most hard task, with Mark Hughes’ Stoke having defeated Manchester City last week before holding West Ham to a goalless draw on Saturday. “And I think there are a number of players who have been hiding behind the criticisms that Louis Van Gaal has been getting”.
