It continued: “She never meant to offend Miss Philippines in any way”.

Trump used to co-owned the Miss Universe brand with NBCUniversal. This time there was a biracial beauty from Japan, a refugee immigrant from Australia and Indonesian Muslim girl too.
Missosology has another post showing numerous contestants chanting “Colombia” even after Miss Philippines was crowned. Miss Colombia took it in stride and was a very good sport, as she wiped away her tears and addressed the cameras backstage at the Planet Hollywood Live in Las Vegas. Later, the crown was taken off from Miss Columbia and it was put on the head of Miss Philippines.
The nearly unbelievable ending to the pageant was televised live in many countries, including on the Fox network in the United States on Sunday night. “I feel bad”, he tweeted on Sunday night.
During the pageant, Harvey apologized for his mistake and showed the card containing the results which showed Philippines as the victor.
It was a cringe-worthy moment for most as Steve Harvey announced he had named the wrong contestant the victor of the Miss Universe Pageant, but it was especially hard to watch for former Miss Texas Tara Watson-Watkins. After saying that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez won, he went back onstage, apologizing, and said that it was actually Pia who had won the crown.
Just days later, Miss Germany Sarah-Lorraine, who came unplaced in the competition, admitted that she wasn’t happy with the result. “I’m so sorry to say it”, she added.
“To me, as a Colombian, she is still Miss Universe”, President Juan Manuel Santos said.
Last year, the Miss Universe pageant racked up 7.6 million viewers, the highest in 10 years. He retweeted someone else’s comment that Trump must be happy that the pageant had gone “off the rails” after he sold it.
