Deli Worker Fatally Shot in Bronx

Police are searching for a thug who stole a hospital police officer’s weapon from his vehicle in the Bronx.

The 46-year-old deli worker was shot in the torso.

The shooting occurred at about 10:15 a.m.at Trio’s Deli in the University Heights neighborhood, police said. “He was always in the store making sandwiches and stuff. Unbelievable”, said the victim’s friend, Annmary Gill.

Police are investigating the murder of a man who worked at a Bronx deli-he was apparently shot after a dispute with a customer. Police say that person likely took off in a gray Chrysler sedan.

Police released surveillance photos of three men in their 20s who are wanted for questioning, as well as video of a auto connected to the shooting.
