Dell has only released a few details about the new Chromebook 13 line. Now we have a slew of Chromebook’s available between $150 and $400. It is said to be one of the most premiums Chromebooks ever made outside of Google’s own Pixel, according to theverge.com.

The Chromebooks will remain a part of Google later this year after the company splinters under an umbrella organization called Alphabet Inc. that will oversee a hodgepodge of businesses and experimental projects delving into medical research, city management, drone delivery and driverless cars. The palm rest is mag alloy.

Sheth announced new Chromebook for Work customers: Big Lots, Netflix, Sanmina, and Starbucks. As far as the specs go, there are basically three variants. Prices range up to $899 for models with touch screens and more powerful brains. You can also choose 2GB, 4GB, or 8GB of DDR3L RAM, and 16GB or 32GB M.2 SSDs. Dell KACE software allows IT staffers to manage and support any Chromebook 13, meaning these can serve both as BYOD machines or mass-purchased, standard-issue notebooks to employees. The keyboard is frankly a bit small compared to something like the higher-end Pixel model, but it’s still usable.

The laptop also features a USB 3.0 port and a USB 2.0 port, as well as an HDMI port. Users can tap into their applications through the Dell Wyse vWorkspace desktop virtualization software.

Google is pushing out Chrome OS updates roughly every six weeks, and some of the enterprise-focused technologies are already out in public builds.

The Weather Company’s tech boss Nicholas Gardner was quoted as endorsing the Chromebook 13, saying the laptop is a fitting machine for “a high-paced environment like The Weather Channel”.

In addition to tethering, Android smartphone owners can also rely on their phones to automatically unlock their Chromebooks when the phone is within close proximity of a Chrome OS device.
