Chromebooks have recently become popular given the ease of setup and usage. “The Pixel is the best Chromebook out there”. This laptop is ideal for more professional use, unlike the Dell Chromebook 11 which was especially prepared for education and ready to survive the wilds of the schoolyard.
Dell Chromebook 13 starts will start shipping in Canada and the United States on September 17 with a $399 price tag. The device unveiled Thursday will be made by Dell. Many businesses should probably stick with Windows machines (coupled with Office 365), but others would be smart to choose a Mac or Chromebook instead – it depends on needs.
Various PC manufacturers that building Windows machines for decades have been working with Google to design lightweight laptops running on the Chrome operating system since 2011. The Chromebook allows users to easily access apps and data from all those devices, he said.
How good is the display? Now Google wants to expand that customer base further. However, you should be fine if you’re using the Chromebook 13 on a desk. Which is something that Chrome OS has been missing for quite some time. The company has 23,000 employees total, so that would be roughly a tenth of the workforce. It has been said that Dell is now focusing on breaking away from the current image that chromebooks have on the market with its new Chromebook 13.
Google has already signed up Starbucks (SBUX) and Netflix (NFLX, Tech30) as early customers. Chrome OS is proving to be a legitimate threat in the enterprise. Along with that bundled software, the Chromebook 13 is eligible for Dell’s ProSupport Plus, which offers 24×7 access to technical help and repairs for drops, spills, and other damage.
Chromebooks can now VPN into corporate networks and even run apps that require Windows or Macs.

Up until today, Chromebooks have been largely known as cheap, student-friendly notebooks, either for individual students or as mass purchases for classrooms. The two companies are now using Chromebooks for Work in select departments.
