The outage caused long lines at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshal Airport.
Customers who’ve already contacted the company regarding their flight issues and provided an email address should expect to hear from Delta Monday and will get a voucher in seven to 10 business days, the company explained.
“There were five flights delayed today”, into or out of Traverse City, Cherry Capital Airport Director Kevin Klein said about 5 p.m. Monday.

“I woke up just like everybody else, hearing about the power outage in Atlanta and the Delta system being interrupted, but checking with the station here, they were able to get our early morning flight out”.
While Southwest says it’s upgrading its routers, software, and other technology, Drusch says Delta’s outage is likely leading all the airlines to ask lots of questions.
The disruption could deal a blow to the reputation of Delta, which for months cancelled far fewer flights than rivals and boasted of its successes to corporate and leisure customers to win their loyalty. Over the next several hours, only a handful of flights took off instead of the usual hundreds, according to flight-tracking services.

“We really weren’t affected much”, Grefe said. The company offered refunds to travelers whose flights were canceled or significantly delayed, and waived fees for customers making changes to their tickets.
