Deltona man accused of shooting wife, firing at deputies
Deputies with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Sunday afternoon who they say allegedly shot his wife before firing at deputies in Deltona.

Deputies told station WKMG they received a call in which 26-year-old Victoria Rosado claimed her husband, Emmanuel Rosado, also 26, wouldn’t let her out of their house.
Around the same time, responding deputies reported hearing a man’s voice from inside the house, proclaiming, “You’re going to die tonight!”.
Victoria Rosado was shot in the leg by her husband, deputies said.
The deputies then reported witnessing multiple shots fired through a door and window of the home and in the direction of deputies.
There were also three children between the ages of 23 months and 7 years old in the home at the time, officers said. About 18 deputies responded to the call, according to several reports from the Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities have released dramatic video of a deputy running into a gun battle to rescue a woman who’d been shot. The sheriff’s office said the dispatcher heard a scream and the line went dead. Two deputies returned fire. He drags her to the house next door and hides her by the front door of the home as she cries and tells him her children are still inside. Moments after that call, law enforcement showed up at her house and found her with a gunshot wound. They were crying hysterically as they rushed into his arms.
A domestic quarrel between a husband and a wife ended in gunfire that left the woman wounded Sunday. Family friends say Victoria is still in the hospital and in a lot of pain after getting shot in the pelvis.
The deputies said Rosado had been fighting with his wife Victoria over custody of their daughter.
Victoria was flown to the trauma center at Central Florida Regional Medical Center in Sanford.

Rosado faces three counts of attempted first-degree murder for the shooting of his wife and for shooting at two deputies outside his home. He is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach without bail.
