In a series of photos on Instagram, Lovato that “Stone Cold” is “My favorite song on the album and the most emotional video I’ve ever shot”, and that she is “Very proud of this one”. The video doesn’t need special effects, background dancers, or any other elements to distract from the focus on Lovato as she sings about a former boyfriend who’s moved on to someone new.

That voice, though. Demi Lovato’s new song “Stone Cold” is worth a repeat. “And when I perform it on a TV show, in rehearsals, or even in a bathtub, it completely takes me to a different place”. Inexplicably wearing a beige sweater (as one does in the tub), Lovato splashes around, puts her cheek in the water and belts her heart out while always looking just half a second away from tears.
“During the shooting I channeled my emotion into it and I just went there”, recalls Lovato of the video shoot in the wilderness. But it looks like all Lovato’s hard work definitely paid off as Demi’s latest music video has already reached more than 1 million views in the first 12 hours of its release on VEVO.
