Democrat is ‘fit to serve,’ Trump offers one page on TV

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton released new medical updates on Wednesday, after the health of the presidential hopefuls emerged as a campaign focal point in recent days. He has called Clinton low on stamina and insinuated, fanning unfounded right wing conspiracies, that she could be in worse health than is known.

The letter detailed her pneumonia diagnosis and declared her fit for the presidency.

She takes thyroid and allergy medicines and the blood thinner Coumadin, prescribed as a preventative after she suffered a blood clot resulting from a 2012 concussion.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are now in a tight race in Virginia, with voters largely disappointed in both candidates, according to a new poll released Thursday. He is also described as “overweight”. A release from the show said “Dr. Oz took Mr. Trump though a full review of his systems”, including his nervous system, cardiovascular health, prostate health and family medical history. Trump said he weighs 236 pounds, according to audience members who attended the taping Wednesday.

The former President said: “She’s worked like a demon as you know as Secretary of State and as a Senator and in the years since”.

It said in a four-way matchup, Clinton got 41 per cent support among likely voters, while Trump a 40 per cent and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein eight and three per cent, respectively.

Florida and Nevada, with large Hispanic populations, were seen by the Clinton campaign as easy wins, while she has paid great attention to Ohio. However, earlier in the day, at a church in Flint, Michigan, he began to slam Clinton and was interrupted by the pastor. Describing pneumonia as “an ailment that many people just power through”, Ms Clinton insisted: “That’s what I thought I would do as well”. Clinton said she was “touched” by the concern about her well-being. After Clinton complained of worsening pain in her left ear over the next few weeks, she received a drainage tube in her left ear and her symptoms improved.

“I was never a fan of Colin Powell”, Trump tweeted Thursday.

So far the 70-year-old Trump had released only four, gushing paragraphs on his health, written by his doctor Harold Bornstein in December 2015. The doctor toldNBC News that he wrote the letter in five minutes as Mr. Trump’s limo idled outside his office.

Clinton also acknowledged criticism that she lacked transparency in disclosing the illness, saying her campaign should have done better.
