Democratic campaigns’ ground game in high gear before Iowa caucuses
You know, the Des Moines register poll which had me ahead slightly at the tight race showed that the enthusiasm of my supporters is actually higher.

When the first round of voting was called at a Democratic caucus precinct in Des Moines Monday night, 392 people sided with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Vermont Sen. Republicans are more likely than Democrats to say they are angry, and whites are more likely than African-Americans to say they are angry.
She launched a veiled swipe at her possible Republican opponents by telling an audience the Democrats had run a “clean” campaign.
“The reason that the rich get richer”, Sanders said, “everybody else gets poorer, is big money controls what goes on in Congress. The answer though to that is a political revolution involving people in the political process”.
Mike Gronstal, the Iowa Senate Majority Leader and top elected Democrat official in the state, also endorsed Clinton on Sunday at a rally in his hometown of Council Bluffs.
Carrie McCabe, a woman in her fifties described herself as a “one issue voter”.
“Bernie’s organizational task, counting so heavily on first-time caucus-goers – many of them young – is greater”. Abell-Holland said she remained undecided until the very last minute because she isn’t enamored of either Clinton or Sanders. We are supposed to be a government of the people, for the people, by the people. That’s a full 10 percentage points more than saw Clinton as “terrible”. On Friday, according to aides, 2,000 volunteer shifts were completed across Iowa, a number that was almost doubled on Saturday.
“There is an ad out there saying I’m attacking Planned Parenthood”.
Donald Trump, the Republican setting the early pace, is backed by 30% of his party’s supporters, with Texas Senator Ted Cruz on 24% and Florida Senator Marco Rubio on 15%, RealClearPolitics found. Sanders and U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR) are sponsoring the “Keepping Our Social Security Promises Act”, which they say will increase payroll taxes on the wealthest and bolster Social Security without raising the retirement age or lowering benefits.
Clinton also garners the support of those who still believe the system works for those willing to invest in hard work, while Sanders excels among those who are convinced the system is rigged and society has become “grotesquely unfair”, as he has previously lamented. “Break them up” is his mantra at rallies around Iowa, where most of his crowds have been outstripping Clinton’s. “Here is the difference”. I want to expand Planned Parenthood funding. I remember, I was working in congress 25 years ago when he first got to congress. One of the most striking thing about Bernie sanders, his mess sang is consistent all these 25 years. “I voted against the war in Iraq; she voted for the war in Iraq”, Sanders told Foreign Policy. Kicking and screaming on (Trans Pacific Partnership), but where were you on all the other trade agreements?
Sanders, in the days before voters caucus, has enjoyed an surge of excitement, too. Yes, he’s making headlines overnight, he said he’s not stopping here in Iowa, he’s going all of the way to the convention. And his campaign aides, due to growth in the polls, have been claiming they have momentum behind them.

The Sanders campaign, for its part, is aware of the problem and has asked fanatic supports to stand down.
