When Sanders assailed the influence of Wall Street on the nation’s political system, she said Obama had received millions from the financial industry but had still signed the Dodd-Frank financial overhaul. “But it doesn’t change my view that we need to empower everyone, women and men, to make the best decisions in their minds that they can make”, she said. They’re going to end up in the productive economy, which is where we want them. “I’m not asking people to support me because I’m a woman”, Clinton said.

The race now moves to what should be more favorable ground for Clinton in Nevada and SC, states with more black and Hispanic voters, who, polls show, have been more supportive of Clinton so far.
