U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Sunday that Democrat Hillary Clinton was a “liar” for claiming that his proposal to ban entry of all foreign Muslims into the United States has aided Islamic State’s propaganda efforts.

Federal Bureau of Investigation } has linked to Islamist extremism – largely revolved around gun violence and terrorist threats. The incident, as well as earlier attacks in Paris, pushed national security to the forefront of the 2016 White House race.

The Sanders campaign has acknowledged that some of its staffers inappropriately accessed proprietary voter information gathered by Clinton on Wednesday when a DNC contractor mistakenly lowered a firewall in a DNC-controlled database that both campaigns use.

He is defending it against calls of unconstitutionality, pointing out that his proposal would apply only to non-U.S. citizens. They also largely agree with Trump that President Obama was not born in America, and many questioned whether he’s Christian.

Clinton and Sanders, her closest challenger, entered Saturday night’s debate in the midst of one of their fiercest fights – about the campaign itself rather than a national or worldwide issue.

Bad-boy pharma CEO Shkreli calls fraud charges ‘baseless’
Ironically, Shkreli who has been in the news mainly due to his price gouging tactics, did not get arrested due to pricing issues. Shkreli seemed calm and cheerful as he ignored or banned negative commenters and chatted with supporters.

On Friday, news had broken of a Sanders staffer being fired after accessing a proprietary precinct of the data base maintained by the Democratic National Committee.

Sanders said he opposes the use of USA troops on the ground to destroy ISIS, while Clinton said she would use special forces in a limited way. He said, “If I find anybody else involved in this, they will also be fired”. Sanders, speaking on ABC’s This Week, also called the DNC’s decision to temporarily block his access to the voter data a “total overreach”.

Donald Trump gets a beating, but did Clinton go too far? Challenged by Sanders on her policy there, the former secretary of state seemed to accuse him of playing Monday morning quarterback.

The data controversy came at a bad time for Sanders, who on Thursday scored two big endorsements from the progressive group, Democracy for America, and the 700,000-member Communications Workers of America union.

“I don’t think the American people are all that interested in this”, Clinton said, channeling the senator’s own declaration in a previous debate about moving on from her “damn emails”.

“If you go back and look at social media, if you look at what’s going on, they are definitely pointing at Mr. Trump”, her campaign chairman, John Podesta, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press”. “And somebody like Trump comes along… and meanwhile, the rich get richer”.

Clinton shot back at Sanders and a moderator who asked if she was partly responsible for the continued chaos in Libya after the United States helped topple dictator Moammar Gadhafi, saying the United States did as much as the Libyans would allow.

“They would repeal the Affordable Care Act, not improve it”, she said.

“She’s wrong”, Carly Fiorina said on “Fox News Sunday”, saying Clinton will “lie as long as you can get away with it”.

“Yes. I apologize”, Sanders said.

“They want American soldiers on the ground fighting them, giving them many more targets and giving them a great recruiting oppurtunity”, Clinton said.

But on the debate stage, Sanders offered apologies while making clear he was still unhappy with the DNC.

The Democratic contenders also clashed over gun control, with former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley criticizing both Sanders and Clinton for shifting their stances to be more aggressive in seeking new restrictions in the wake of a recent string of mass shootings.

Clinton, too: “Yes, let’s tell the truth, Martin”. “We are not “where we need to be” in fight against ISIS”.

“With respect to my own husband, I am probably still going to pick the flowers and the china for state dinners and stuff like that”, said Clinton, the front-runner for her party’s nomination.
