Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has bacterial pneumonia
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. USA presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on Wednesday moved to show their medical fitness for the White House as Clinton released a letter from her doctor declaring her fit for the presidency and Trump taped a TV-segment about his well-being.

In today’s letter, Mrs Clinton’s doctor says her “overall impression” is that Mrs Clinton has “remained healthy” throughout the year.
Bardack also wrote Clinton is in “excellent mental condition” and is “recovering well”.
“She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”, wrote Bardack, who also authored a letter about Clinton’s health released in July 2015.
The details made public by the Democratic presidential nominee included a description of the pneumonia diagnosis she received last week. She began to feel dizzy and almost collapsed while getting into a Secret Service van, which took her to her daughter Chelsea’s apartment to rest.
Clinton had previously released a letter from her doctor Bardack, which contained information about her current health, medications and past health conditions, including a history of hyperthyroidism and deep-vein thrombosis.
You can read Clinton’s full medical statement here.
Clinton’s history of blood clots has been a focus of attention. Heart disease is the number one killer in the United States. Even though Clinton’s triglycerides count jumped from 69 to 159, that’s only borderline high.
Trump, too, has said he plans to release the details of a recent physical this week. I would imagine Dr. Oz would talk about what he talks about every day, addiction or Zika or other health concerns for people.
Additional health records released with the letter show that Clinton’s cholesterol and blood pressure are within normal ranges. She wrote that she has evaluated the Democratic nominee “several times” since September 11 and that she “continues to improve”.
Clinton’s blood pressure of 100/70 and she has a heart rate of 70, according to Bardack. Her lab testing, the doctor added, was “normal”.
Clinton’s also come under criticism for not disclosing earlier that she was sick.
Clinton’s health became a sudden focus of the presidential race after she abruptly left the event commemorating the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in NY and was later filmed stumbling and being helped into a van by her aides.
News of Trump’s appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” – though it appeared to reveal little detail – had earlier flooded the U.S. airwaves on Wednesday, upping the pressure on Clinton to share more health data before returning to the trail Thursday with appearances in North Carolina and Washington. Her campaign later disclosed she had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier.
Meanwhile, Trump on Wednesday discussed records from a physical he had last week during an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, which is set to air Thursday, according to a summary provided by the show.
Tim Kaine, also released his health information in a letter from Dr. Brian P. Monahan, the USA congressional physician.
That information won’t swing the election or anything, but the campaign hopes to forestall any more rumors about Clinton’s health and fitness to serve as president. His only surgery was a molar teeth extraction. Monahan said Kaine was on no medications but recommended a vitamin D supplement.
Republican vice presidential hopeful Mike Pence declined to respond to reporters Wednesday in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, when asked if he planned to release his medical records. Marc Lotter, a Pence spokesman, later said the IN governor will release information from a recent physical “quickly”. She then fainted and suffered a concussion.
“Every time I think about Trump I get allergic”, she joked in front of the crowd.

Clinton’s pneumonia isn’t shocking, given her issues with allergies, women’s health expert Jennifer Wider, MD, tells Yahoo. “Her degree of thyroid abnormality wasn’t that significant and seems to be easily controlled”, Ross says. “It’s a insane time we live in, you know, when people think there’s something unusual about getting the flu”.
