Democratic Strategist: Hillary Needs Bernie

“No. 2, the point that we’re going to make loud and clear is that, in virtually every national poll that’s been out there in the last month or six weeks, and in nearly every state poll, Bernie Sanders runs stronger against Donald Trump than does Hillary Clinton”, he continued.

While Clinton is still focused on the race she’s now running, the super-PACs who have backed her are busy making the case against Trump early-something that his Republican opponents should have done sooner.

In a speech at a brewery in southeastern OH last week, Clinton said coal is still a part of the nation’s energy supply, but even big coal-consuming nations like China are starting to burn less. West Virginia has one of the highest unemployment rates in country.

Glenn Beck has consistently criticized presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, so when he predicted the billionaire businessman would win the presidency in November, it came as somewhat of a surprise. Massive wins in West Virginia and Nebraska put Trump ever closer to clinching the 1,237 delegates he needs to be declared the party’s nominee at its convention in July.

West Virginia had 29 delegates at stake.

On the Republican side, almost half (47%) of GOP voters now believe the Republican Party should be more like Donald Trump than like House Speaker Paul Ryan. “This is just a suggestion until we find out what’s going on”, he remarked. Only 38 percent had a favorable view of Clinton, and 22 percent said they had a favorable view of Trump. “They want Mrs. Clinton to be the nominee”.

The 74-year-old Vermont Senator, who defeated Ms Clinton in IN, has mounted an unyielding come-from-behind challenge that has exposed weaknesses in the latter’s campaign. Sanders has won 19 states to Clinton’s 23, but she is 94 percent of the way to winning the nomination – just 145 delegates short of the 2,383 required.

“It’s actually harmful because she can’t make that general-election pivot the way she should”, Feinstein said.

“I think you’re going to see a lot of challenging of the rules”, said Annette Magnus, executive director of Battle Born Progress. The same proportion cited the economy and jobs as the most important issue.

“West Virginia is a working-class state, and like many other states in this country, including OR, working people are hurting”, he said. Of course, the former Secretary of State will most likely win the race, but Mr. Sanders is still a tough opponent! Another 29 delegates will be apportioned based on West Virginia’s results.

In an interview with NPR, the Vermont senator explained that he won’t give up until the last primary in California on June 7, which is 27 days away. It also means she’s spending time in primary states, rather than battlegrounds that will decide the general election. He told Fox on Tuesday night that he has narrowed his list to five people.
