Pointing to major figures in American history to stress the importance of the 2016 election, the vice presidential nominee contended that the country begins the “the next chapter in our proud story” this week. “We’re not reacting way we should”, Kean said.
“Trump is a guy who promises a lot, but you might have noticed he’s got a way of saying the same two words every time he makes his biggest, hugest promises: ‘believe me, ‘” Kaine said, launching into the role of Trump. “Our nation, it is too great to put it in the hands of a slick-talking, empty-promising, self-promoting, one-man wrecking crew”.
